PMFORUM, Connecting the World of Project Management

The mission of the PMFORUM is to use the Internet to provide an economical forum for the promotion and exchange of project management information and knowledge worldwide.

Objectives:

* To provide leaders and practitioners in project management around the world the opportunity to meet electronically, to share information, and discuss issues of common global interest.
* To advance the globalization of the project management profession by promoting communication and cooperation between and among project management organization and professionals around the world.
* To provide educational opportunities for participants to learn about issues, status of the profession and perspectives, from colleagues and experts from other cultures and geographic regions worldwide.
* To advance the project management discipline technically and in more geographic areas, industries and organizations world wide.

The PMFORUM believes that the Internet is the way of the future for achieving project management information dissemination and exchange, as well as collegiality. All at much less cost than hard copy publication and attending symposia presentations, both of which are more expensive than many people can or are willing to afford.
