Society of Insurance Research

The Society of Insurance Research (SIR) is the leading international, interdisciplinary organization of insurance research practitioners focused on identifying, understanding, and communicating industry trends, emerging issues, and innovations for the benefit of our Members and their employers.

SIR Members are insurance professionals with responsibilities in research, product development, competitive intelligence, actuarial science, strategic planning, marketing, and other disciplines who bring their knowledge of research principles to bear in practical applications every day. Typically, our Members are either employees of insurance carriers or they offer research-related products and services to insurance carriers. However, SIR Members also come from government, academic, and other environments with an interest in the business of insurance.
