Builders Insurance Group Launches General Liability Product in Florida

Builders Insurance Group today announced it has introduced its General Liability (GL) program to the Florida market. This expansion marks a significant move for Builders Insurance Group as it continues to strengthen its portfolio of top-quality insurance products for the home building community throughout the Southeast.

"Our GL product, already successful in Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee, is designed to meet the unique needs of the home building community and is available via eQuotes, our powerful, easy-to-use online solution to quote, bind and track policies," said Tom Maupin, senior vice president of Marketing for Builders Insurance Group. In addition to the standard GL product, Builders Insurance Group is also introducing a second GL coverage option to enable home builders to help control their costs while assuring the protection of their assets. The GL Warranty program is designed to reduce GL premiums for builders who provide their customers with a home warranty from one of five approved home warranty companies. These are Bonded Builders, Home Buyers Warranty (HBW)/2-10, Professional Warranty Services Corporation, Quality Builders Warranty and Residential Warranty Corporation.

Builders Insurance Group's GL coverage is available to residential general contractors, residential developers and residential remodeling contractors. Through eQuotes, home builders will get a fast and accurate quote for new policies from their agents. Policyholders enjoy free online bill pay and convenient pay plan options including Annual Pay Plan or Direct Bill with 25 percent down payment and 5, 7, or 9 installments.
